Alexandre gained experience while working for an international bank where he contributed to several Leverage Buy Outs (LBOs), property structuring and syndicated transactions.
He subsequently moved to head the credit and risk department of a South African finance house. There, he participated in the setting up of new ventures, in the acquisition of one of a leading asset rentals business from the largest Pan African bank, and in building the team of analysts across three jurisdictions.
In 2018, he co-founded and successfully launched Fundkiss, Mauritius’ #1 crowdlending marketplace.
Alexandre launched BYRD & Partners in 2019 with the aim to help businesses and their leadership teams lay strong foundations for their medium-term growth path.
Ludovic began his career at PwC in the Transaction Services department, contributing to landmark M&A with a focus on hospitality and financial services. He then specialized in equity valuation for investee companies across Africa and Asia, supporting global private equity and venture capital audits.
Ludovic later joined a private equity fund, driving investments in infrastructure, agriculture, and hospitality projects in Africa.
As co-founder and COO of Fundkiss, Mauritius’s first peer-to-peer lending platform, Ludovic facilitated capital raising efforts with angel investors and family offices while handling the operations of the company.
Ludovic is a visionary entrepreneur and strategic innovation advisor who specializes in preparing businesses for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
His expertise lies in identifying opportunities for leveraging technology and innovation to drive growth and efficiency.

Mariam is in charge of our administration department. She is a detail-oriented and autonomous professional with over six years of experience in administration. She works diligently to make things run smoothly and help our organisation grow by managing the office, supporting HR functions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
She started her first job at a local financial services company and got several promotions in her career by demonstrating a proven track record in streamlining workflows, managing high-value transactions and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Mariam is currently pursuing an MBA with Specialisation in Financial Services at the University of Mauritius and holds a BSc (Hons) in Management (Minor: Entrepreneurship).
